The lodge
Written by Mary Elizabeth Hamilton
Directed by Emma Miller
A Man and his new Bride and A Woman and her Nanny and Son are stranded at a cross-country ski lodge during a snowstorm. People go missing. There are monsters in these woods. And turkeys, so many turkeys. (Are they turkeys?) Relationships cross and take wrong turns and lead to unexpected places. The Lodge examines class structures and power dynamics and what it means to hang onto an old idea of the world while a new idea of the world is coming into place… and who is lost and who emerges and what violences go down in the transition.
