Firehouse Theatre proudly presents Nobel prize winning American playwright Eugene O’Neill’s powerful tale of love, lust, and loathing.


O’Neill’s 1924 masterpiece is rooted in the tragic Greek myth Phaedra, transplanted to a remote New England farm. When Ephraim Cabot comes home with a new, young wife his three sons plot to maintain their hold on him and their inheritance, leading to malice, madness, and murder.
