Tue, Oct 18 @ 6pm

Tickets - FREE!

Based on Slash Coleman’s award-winning book "The Bohemian Love Diaries," Coleman and co-creator Leon Phoenix will host a staged reading for the screenplay version of the book and solicit feedback before heading to Hollywood to make the film.

"The Bohemian Love Diaries" was released by Lyon's Press in 2013. The award-winning book chronicles Slash's upbringing in the 70s and 80s by an eccentric family of half-Jewish, half-redneck artists in the Capital of the Confederacy and his quest to find love. ‎The stage version of the book was presented off-Broadway to sold-out crowds in 2013. The same year, the audio book won the award for Best Action Stories by Storytelling World. In‎ 2014, the book was a finalist for the 17th Annual People’s Choice Award for non-fiction by the Library of Virginia. And in 2015, Coleman received a Bravo! Award recognizing his book ‎as an outstanding achievement.
