One-Woman Show Set for Oct. 8-10
posted on October 5, 2009
The Firehouse Theatre is proud to present Unaccustomed to My Name, a one-woman show written and performend by Marta Rainer.
This dynamic performance is about a bookish woman named Sophie who faces a life crisis at 21, fighting the misfit blues and the ghosts of her high school past by torturing numbskulls in cow town bars after creating a saucy, Slavic alter ego. But her new lease on life is foiled when she meets a charming poetry professor and finds herself in a love triangle with… herself.
There are four scheduled performances to be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10, and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students with ID.
