January 25th-28th:  Fifth Annual Festival of New American Plays

The judges have spoken; now it’s your turn! This year’s finalists are One Fine Day by David Rush from Chicago, Illinois; and Grace by Sharon Sharth of Pasadena, California. Staged readings of Grace will be presented Thursday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., while One Fine Day will show Friday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. All audience members who attend readings of both plays will vote for the winner after the Sunday night performance. The winner by popular vote will receive $1,000; and the runner-up receives $500.

Tickets are $6.00 each at the door only, or only $10.00 for both shows. Group rates are available.

Showtimes: Grace: Thursday, January 25, and Saturday, January 27, 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7.

One Fine Day: Friday, January 26, and Sunday, January 28, 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7.

Those of you in the know, know that the Festival of New American Plays was born in 2002 as part of the Theatre’s mission to support new works. Response was so phenomenal, it became an annual event, with hundreds of scripts pouring in from around the country. Last year’s Festival winner went on to garner critical acclaim in New York!
