Firehouse Wins “Best Play” and Five Other Awards!

Best play - two years in a row!
The Firehouse Theatre Project garnered six coveted awards at the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle‘s 2009 second annual “Artsies” awards on Sunday, including best play, best leading actor in a play, and best director of a play.
Following are the awards with which the RTCC‘s six theatre critics honored the Firehouse Theatre at its ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 18, at the Empire Theatre in Downtown Richmond:
- Best Play - Eurydice
- Best Director of a Play - Rusty Wilson for Eurydice
- Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Play - Joe Inscoe for Eurydice
- Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Play - Marta Rainer for Rabbit Hole
- Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design - Bryan Harris for Eurydice
- Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play - Larry Cook for Eurydice
