Community Event - Black History in Story and Song

A Black History Month Happening:
On February 8 & 9, Jerome Bridges, nationally acclaimed African-American historical actor and interpreter appears at Blackwell Auditorium at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland to tell first-peron stories from the pre-Civil War era, and the Civil Rights era of the 50’s and ‘60’s. Accompanying Mr. Bridges will be local choirs with more than fifty voices, singing spirituals and gospel songs from these historic periods.  This event is free and open to the public.
Dates and Times: Friday, Feb 8 and Saturday, Feb 9, 7:30 p.m.
