Arteka Theatrical Productions was established in 2007. The founders, Artisia V. Green and Rebekah L. Pierce, were inspired to create the for-profit company because they felt that it was important that works by women, which reflected the complexity of the world of women, be given a voice in the theatre and that an outlet or theatrical vehicle for these voices be made available to them and the general public.
Its mission is to produce quality and entertaining theatrical works by, for and about women of all nationalities and ethnicities.
